 Kamakshi Hart, M.A., is an inspiring, joyful and visionary teacher, speaker and facilitator. She received her master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and was honored by the faculty as Student of the Year for her demonstration of mastery as a student and as a counselor.
Prior to her graduate work, Kamakshi was the founder and director of The DancingHeart Center for Yoga on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. In addition, she served as a weekly teacher for the Supreme Court at the invitation of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and as a guest presenter for the IMF, the Spiritual Unfoldment Society of the World Bank, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Washington National Cathedral.
Kamakshi left her first career in New York theatre, to immerse in the study of yoga, meditation and spiritual wisdom traditions. In NYC, she taught yoga for the Jivamukti Yoga Center and Time-Warner. Kamakshi completed her teaching certification with the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Massachusetts, where she ultimately became a resident teacher and co-director of yoga and personal growth programs.
Today, in support of co-creating a peace and joy-filled planet, Kamakshi offers her wealth of knowledge, experiential wisdom and the personal revelations of a life intentionally lived on the path of Divine & Self-Discovery: the journey to the True Self. |
