Acceptance: Choosing Freedom
For some, the word “acceptance” implies a giving up, a kind of spirit-less resignation. An excitingly conscious point of view is to see acceptance as an opportunity to be with “what is” and use the circumstance as a way to get free and move on!.

These Six steps are a roadmap to self discovery and acceptance. Free to printout and share.

Step 1: Awareness You begin to gain essential understanding of your process and what it is that you want to change, heal or transform while increasing your knowing of what you want, how you are feeling about it and what internal or external obstacles are present.

Step 2: Acceptance This is where loving, self-forgiveness and compassion are born. In order to move past the blocks into healthy, balanced action, you will learn and experience techniques to support both self-acceptance and ‘acceptance of what is’.

Step 3: Adjustment Without the first two, it isn’t possible to create effective, lasting change. Out of the information gained above, it is possible to evaluate and assess what positive changes are needed and desired to support wholeness and congruence.

Step 4: Attunement Our capacity for intuitive discernment and inner knowing are like muscles that can be developed and strengthened with time and attention. Spiritual practices are designed expressly for this purpose, as are practical self-discovery tools and techniques. Experiencing, self-validating and prioritizing the connection with the True Self is the heart of the spiritual path.

Step 5: Alignment With the knowledge of where the changes need to be made, the understanding that we are always changing and the experience of inner resonance and intuitive direction, the spiritual student becomes an alchemist of their soul – learning how to turn the lead of life’s challenges into the gold of illumination through alignment with their unfolding purpose.

Step 6: Actualization ‘Actualize – to make something real, or make something come about.’ The first stage is to put the above formula into action. To begin to experience the peace and joy of living in alignment with one’s own values, vision and purpose. The second stage is the experience of being who you really are – where outer experience is now reflecting inner reality, where heartfelt desires are magnetized and manifested and life and Self are integrated, congruent and deeply content. The third stage is the Actualization of the Self as Self = Spirit, where there is the direct experience of I Am That – one with the eternal, changeless Self and that is Who You Really Are.
